Went with me on a 4 months trip to Ecuador, Peru and Argentina. This is a great pack, particularly if you like external pockets. It's comfortable to wear and very easy to adjust. It slips a little, but that can be fixed by adjusting it properly. There are no straps on the bottom to secure a sleeping pad or something, but there are nylon loops that you can... I was looking for a hiking/hunting/bug out bag and this bag was exactly what I was looking for.Lots of room I have 3 MRE's,lots of 550 cord,hatchet,entrenching shovel just in the... I've been using this pack for a few years now and it's a great pack. The only reason im not giving it 5 stars is the lack additional lashing points on the outside of the bag. Certainly gets the job done. Not the lightest pack on the market, but I like the organization. I use this pack mostly for winter excursions or if i need to pack excess... I purchased the Kelty Coyote pack a few years back and I have been very pleased with its performance, construction, versatility and overall quality.
