Thank you to the person who dropped the uniform and baby items off at Moncreiff Church, to the lovely Liza for her generousity, for the donations left at the library and at East Kilbride & District Housing Association. I'm afraid I have no photos this time as the items are going out as fast as they are coming in. At least it means that they are reaching the people who need them! :-)Back to School Bank East KilbrideVery pleased to say that for Christmas we have teamed up with the East Kilbride Christmas Toy Appeal! If you can buy a wee extra gift or even some wrapping paper when you're out Christmas shopping it would make Christmas that bit easier for some local families. Items can be dropped off at Back to School Bank East Kilbride drop off points which are pinned to the top of the page. In addition, the Toy appeal drop off points are Debenhams, ToyTown in the town centre, Greenhill...s Community Centre and the Bank of Scotland. I
f anyone is looking for ideas on what to buy, we definitely need the following .... Stage one baby toys ie rattles, cloth toys, musical toys, sensory toys. Shape sorters are always good too. Boys aged 10 plus are hard to buy for. Vouchers for the cinema, airspace etc might be good options as well as toiletries, backpacks etc. Girls aged 10 plus are easier to get gifts for! Makeup, bags, purses, scarfs, perfumes, jewellery etc as well as vouchers are fantastic. Tack to School Bank East KilbrideGrateful thanks to Stephen for saving these (and many more) items for us! 🙂Back to School Bank East KilbrideThank you to the person/people who dropped off these items at Moncreiff Parish church. 🙂Back to School Bank East KilbrideA huge thank you to the ladies of St Ninian's church in Stonehouse for these beautiful hats, Scarves and gloves!
