It’s gigantic which is perfect for me because I am a serial over-packer. I can even fit a pillow plus some clothes for a night over at a friend’s house. The Villager: This was the first Vera Bradley bag I ever got. I spent hours choosing exactly which bag I wanted to get. I looked very critically at size, the number of pockets, and if the main compartment had a zippered closure. dwemer backpackIn my opinion the Villager is the best of both worlds of a purse and a tote because it has lots of little pockets and a zipper closeure like a purse, but it also can fit so much stuff. gravis uno backpackI can fit my planner, a sweater, my sunglasses case, my makeup bag, my wallet, and a waterbottle inside without it looking like the bag is going to burst. Saddle Up: This is one of the more purse-like styles they make.

I love the pleating on this bag and the extra bit of shine you get fromt the o ring closure on the front flap (it also weights the flap down so it stays closed.) There are a wonderful number of pockets in this bag, but if you put in too much or shove it into the bag in awkward angles the bag can easily look overstuffed. The Tote: This is one of the most classic VB bags in my opinion and also my most recently purchased item from them. There are a decent number of pockets on the inside and the sillouette is very nice and slim. My only issue with this bag is that it doesn’t have any real type of closure on the top, save the small tortiseshell button and loop.
