Parent involvement means the participation of parents is on-going, two-way, and provides meaningful communication involving student academic learning and other school activities. The annual Magnet Caravan will be visiting LWMS on Thursday, December 1st from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The 8th grade students will learn about what magnet programs are offered at high schools throughout the district and how to apply to the programs of their interest.

Parents are responsible for transportation to and from tutoring. The before school session is held from 8:00AM - 9:00 AM. The after school session is held from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM. You may also have your child pick up an invitation at school. Earn two hours volunteering on Saturday January 21st from 10am to Noon at Skyway Park, hauling and spreading mulch to protect new plants at an event sponsored by the West Hill and King County Parks.
