With a starting weight of only 3.42-3.55 lbs and a load range between 20-45 lbs, this 46L pack has plenty of features. A great bag for you or the lady in your life, it holds everything you need and more for whatever your adventure needs! Wide mouth main compartment access Kyte available in other sizes 36L, 46L & 66L Osprey offers a variety of sizes and styles in their women's range, I've had this Kyte 46L bag for several months now and taken it on many backpacking and hiking outings. I haven't noticed any great wear or tear even after lots of moments when I've had to throw it down out of exhaustion.

It's constructed primarily of Nylon double diamond ripstop and, with a fairly light starting weight at 3.42-3.55 lbs, can hold up to 45 lbs. Front view with lid back showing internal lid mesh pocket. This bag can be adjusted so the harness can achieve a cosier fit. This pack is great for women with a smaller (shorter) stature, I'm 5'3" and don't have a long torso so I have a little difficulty getting a pack to fit and sit comfortably on my hip and shoulders. Need not worry because the pack can be adjusted to fit a longer torso and one can easily lengthen the shoulder straps to do so. The Osprey Kyte has an adjustable sternum strap (with a built-in whistle) to help the bag fit in place and prevent too much movement and stabilizing the shoulder straps. The hip belts sit firmly in place and I don't find them uncomfortable or too rigid. Hip belts have a foam core and mesh to allow for breathability and extra comfort. With an 'Airscape' technology back panel providing cushioning, suspension and ventilation this makes for a comfier and stable pack for any woman on the go.

Inside of the Kyte 46L pack Pack comes with a rain cover: One main feature I wish it had is an adjustable lid. If you fill the top section with too much stuff, it can get in the way when you're wearing wide brim hat or can hit the back of your head.

On the other hand it's manageable and you can always work your way around it in most circumstances. All in all I highly rate this bag, I would get another one at the drop of a dime...
