: Love These Shoes When I ride my motorcycles I am used to a degree of ruffing it, that is just part of the fun and why I ride. However, there are a few pieces of equipment that as a rider I don't believe ruffing it has any place and shoes are where I draw the line. There is absolutely nothing worse that wet feet cold or not and after a day of riding having your feet hurt so bad that I find it necessary the carry a pair of tennis shoes or forbid flip flops. I purchased my Sidi Mythos Gore-Tex Shoe on 9/8/2014 few days later this large box showed up on my door step ( I have big feet ) when I picked up the box it was so light, it was obviously empty. Simply too light to be a really good riding shoes, so I peeked inside and yes there was my Sidi Mythos shoes. OK my initial thoughts were how is this light weight shoe going to hold up, the answer is surprising well. The shoe offers exceptional protection for a riding shoe. The laces are covered holding them securely in place. If you ever had shoe laces work loose while riding and tangle around your gear shift or break its an interesting feeling when you try and put your foot down and you find it bound to your bike especially if your leaning in that direction, “at my age I don't bounce”.

The shoe is foremost comfortable, many bike boot / shoes the soul is too stiff to walk comfortably. The Sidi Mythos is one of the exceptions you can wear the boot with your favorite jean and they look good but best of all they feel good, when you have your foot resting on the pegs they give good support. I have had a pair of the boulder x's for the last 2 years and love the shoe. From wearing them around town to scrambling around larabee to hiking down to lost lake the shoe gives good grip and fits snug on the foot due to the mythos lacing system. So I was exicited to see LaSportiva come out with a taller version. It still fits snug in the toe for those steeper scrambles or inpromptu bouldering sessions but is really comfortable right out of the box.
