When you hit the trails for an overnight hike, or a fast and light five-day adventure, make sure you have the right pack to tote all your gear safely and comfortably. For a minimalist load, try an overnight pack on for size. With capacities between 2000 and 2999 cubic inches, these light, comfortable backpacks for hiking won't weigh you down. A weekend pack will tote enough gear for a two or three days with capacities between 3000 and 4500 cubic inches.
