I must make note here that this was a mistake. Not because of the pack, but rather because a pack is the last item that should be purchased. Get everything that you will be carrying and then get the pack that will hold it all, and fits you well. Saying that, overall, this pack has been a great pack. It’s a good quality pack that I didn’t break the bank to purchase (I actually found it on sale for $139). This pack is VERY well built, the shoulder straps are not too wide or too narrow and but are nice and thick. The waist has very nice padding as well. As for the color, I got it in FOREST and it is absolutely perfect. I shopped around for a couple months looking for the "Right" bag and it came down to this and the Kelty Red Cloud 80. Having the extra options of tying more gear and equipment on utilizing the external frame and the capability of supporting more weight sealed the deal. If you are looking for a quaility pack look no further. If you want this pack super fast, BACKCOUNTRY EDGE. Kelty Super Tioga External Frame Pack My Grandson loves it!! I have only used this product a handful of times, the first use my Kelty super tioga saw was a mini-vacation I took in the adirondacks the week prior to this memorial day. Kelty has the best external back- pack that has ever been made. I have tried a couple others, smaller but was not satisfied with them. Fast delivery, good price, item in pristine condition.
A roomy, well built backpack.If you want a great external frame, jump on ine of these, and from this seller ! Out with my internal frame "bag on the back," and in with instantaneous comfort, balance, and stability. I can't see why anyone would have an issue with this backpack. It's not an old style Jansport but it's damn close. Feels good on the back and is well balanced. This is the most comfortable backpack I have ever used. My shoulders are too wide for most packs but my waist is narrow. This pack adjusted well.I don't care for internal frame packs and this pack is large enough for a nice long trek.
