Police are searching for two suspects after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in Markham. Two groups of people were at a Tim Horton’s parking lot on Friday just before 9 p.m. Police said they believe there was some sort of altercation that escalated between the two groups. During the fight, a 17-year-old boy was stabbed. When officers arrived at the parking lot, located at Steeles Avenue and Don Mills Road, the suspects had fled. They may have left the area on a bus, according to investigators. The boy was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police released descriptions of two suspects wanted in connection with the stabbing on Saturday morning. The first suspect was described as an Asian man around 16 to 19 years old with a thin build. He had short black hair and was wearing a light grey jacket with a hood, a light grey hooded sweatshirt underneath, light grey sweatpants and white running shoes. He was also carrying a black backpack with an orange half-moon crest on it.

The second suspect was described as a black man around 16 to 19 years old with a thin build. He had long bushy hair tied back in a ponytail. He was wearing a blue fitted windbreaker with a hood and grey track pants. He was carrying a light blue Jansport backpack.
