Swellness: Mind, Body, and Everything In Between Best Bet: Baggu X Shabd Tie-Dye Totes The ecofriendly bag brand teams up with a master tie-dyer. Baggu is known for its lightweight nylon tote bags — ecofriendly and convenient, sure, but not necessarily stylish. Now the reusable bag brand has teamed up with tie-dye-savvy designer Shabd Simon-Alexander on a limited-edition line of backpacks and totes. The bags are made from recycled cotton canvas and hand-dyed in springy shades of mint, gray, rose, or midnight blue for a mottled, one-of-a-kind effect. Though the collection just landed online, it's selling out fast, so click over before they're gone. (If you're still stuck on the sold-out gray hue, you can splurge on the Glacier pocket tote on Shabd's own site.) The New York-based designer has been creating versatile separates since she graduated from Parsons in 2012, and her senior thesis collection was picked up by Of A Kind in 2014. Chasin's vibrant, one-of-a-kind pieces can now be found at retailers like Garmentory, Mohawk General and The Rising States.

The designer recently journeyed to Morocco for the first time where she explored the streets and souks of Marrakech and documented everything along the way. Fashion Times was fortunate enough to get a glimpse into Chasin's world, and the designer shared her visual travel diary with us here. From glamping in the desert to bartering over rugs and textiles, Nikki Chasin shares some of her most memorable moments and travel tips below. Nikki's Essentials For The Plane Ride: "Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Balm, Bioderma Sebium pore refiner, La Roche-Posay Anthelios sunscreen, Commes des Garcons wallet, Dries van Noten Sunglasses, Nike Mayfly sneakers,Baggu totes for shopping, Louis Vuitton Epi Mabillon backpack." Fashion Times: What brought you to Morocco? Was this your first time visting? Nikki Chasin: This was my first visit, and I can't wait to go back! I was on my way to my friend's wedding in Tuscany, and I wanted to go on an adventure en route! My best friend from childhood, Claire, also had some free time, and we love to travel together.

FT: Where did you stay on your visit? NC: We stayed at a Riad (Art Place Riad) in Jemaâ El Fna, Medina, near the center of Marrakech. We also spent one night in the desert at Scarabeo Camp. FT: Any favorite restaurants? What was one local dish you absolutely loved? NC: The lamb burger at Nomad was amazing. The fresh squeezed orange juice from the stalls in Jemaâ El Fna was such a refreshing treat! FT: Any design inspiration for future collections? NC: The washed-out colors throughout the city were very inspiring. The cactus silk rug designs -- as well as the playful motifs on baskets and rugs -- will definitely influence my fabric choices and textures. FT: What were some of your favorite markets or shops? NC: Spice Market for different spices, and some of the best rug stalls can be found nearby; slippers from the souk in Jemaâ El Fna, as well as straw hats and baskets. FT: What was one intriguing thing you learned on this trip? NC: We were a bit worried to travel during Ramadan, because most of the people in Marrakech fast, and some businesses have abbreviated hours.
